Child Custody

Our children are our most precious assets.  They are part of us and our desire to be with them, to influence them and to minimize their struggles is paramount in our minds.  As families transition into separate households, it is critical to put the interests of the children first.   

Sonya assists parents in assessing their custodial rights and responsibilities.  If custody is being established or modified, it is critical that parents understand how to assure that they protect their custodial interests.  Often a custody evaluation is necessary for an expert’s recommendation. It is often difficult to predict how a custody issue will be resolved.  If possible, it is best to resolve disputes amicably instead of taking the issues before a Judge.
